We're All Just Walking Each Other Home
aka none of us really know what we’re doing and that’s… kind of the point.
There’s a quiet comfort in realizing no one actually has this whole thing figured out.
And lately, that thought has been keeping me steady in the chaos. Not in a delusional, “we’re all doing amazing, sweetie” kind of way, but in a grounded, human, okay-so-maybe-it’s-not-just-me kind of way.
I’ve been in this weird in-between space lately. Coming off a breakup that still lingers in more than a few places, navigating a “friends-with-benefits” situation that’s layered (because of course it is), maybe dipping a toe into dating again, and still figuring out how to hold myself in all of it without gripping so tightly.
There’s no guidebook. No manual. And no one’s ahead of the curve…because we’re all doing life for the first time. Every single one of us. First time loving. First time losing. First time figuring out what we want, now that we know what we don’t.
