The Grey Area: Learning to Live in the In-Between
Navigating the space between certainty and chaos.
We love certainty. We crave it. The clear yes or no. The definitive right or wrong. The labels that make things easier to categorize. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned - through relationships, career pivots, personal growth, and, honestly, just being human - it’s that life is rarely that simple.
Most of it exists in the grey area.
That space where things aren’t black or white. Where answers aren’t clear-cut. Where feelings are messy, decisions aren’t obvious, and the “right” path doesn’t come with a flashing neon sign pointing the way. And if I’m being honest, I used to hate that. The unknown felt like something to fix…a problem to solve, an outcome to force. But now? I’m realizing that the grey area is where real life happens. I, personally, love the grey area (99% of the time).
